Chicken Pox Boy
I wrote this on December 18th but couldn't figure out how to get it in the right place so here it is now:
Well Saturday Joey broke out with Chicken pox from head to toe. Good thing his is so little because he does not stratch. He is doing well. Kerry and I worked from 2:30 pm till 1:00 am at the Nephi 7-eleven on Friday night then spent the rest of the night trying to sleep at the Super 8 motel in Nephi. I say trying because the bed was harder then my beds in our trailer. Now that is hard. I think the floor would have been more comfortable. I slept on the recliner because I hurt so bad. Saturday I dropped Kerry off at the Nephi store at 8:45 am and then headed to Orem to do the paperwork at the 8th north store. Kerry called me at 12:00 noon and told me to head back down because the snow was so bad he did not think he would get home if I did not leave and head down. So down through the snow storm I drove, tired and hungry. I felt it was going to be a long day. I told him we needed to use the bathroom before we left as it was going to take us 2 hours to get home. He thought I was nuts, but I was right. We must have seen 20 cars that had slid off or crashed into others because of following too close or driving too fast. We had said a prayer before we left Nephi and I attribute that to our safe but long return home.

Christmas is coming
Wow today was a busy one. I baked cookies, cookies and more cookies and put together all the plates to take around to my neighbors. This tradition is a great deal of work. Still no job yet but I have faith it will happen when it is suppose to happen. Kerry and I are enjoying the quiet around here for the past few days but will soon be going back to the noise. Tomorrow is Christmas eve already and I just can not believe it is already here. Well tomorrow with be a busy one with Santa coming and food to prepare. Everyone have a Merry Christmas.

Sick
Man these past few days I have not been able to really go anywhere. The flu sucks. I just hope to get over it soon. I was not even able to go to work today because I needed to be so close to a bathroom. It seems the whole house has had it but for some reason I got the worst of it. I guess I have not been taking good care of myself. I think I should have gotten the flu shot this year. It is hard getting old. I have read several books over the past few weeks as well as got back with my doctor to take care of problems have been having. I am now taking 4 grams of Omega 3 daily. Kerry is doing well now he is over the flu but for me I am still weak. I am just glad the families have not come around. They don't need this in their homes. I am trying to stay on top of my journal to leave a record of my life but it is tough when you feel bad. I still need to get my christmas cards out soon. I hope to get that done this week.

December is upon us.
Well just so you know thanksgiving just sucked. If we had not had an outbreak of Chickenpox so everyone was freaking out. Chickenpox usually is only spread by contact with the person who is currently running a fever or is just breaking out with the poxs. After going through Chickenpox with my brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and all six of my children let alone all my friends kids who I constantly exposed my kids too just so they would break out I think I really know what I am talking about. Anyway Kerry and I wanted our children to share what they were thankful for but that did not happen nor did we have the prayer that we wanted. So now December begins and I still do not have a job. I have an interview tomorrow but not sure what jobs this company has available. We shall see.

The story of my life
Wow I have not been on here for nearly a year. In January Kerry and I will be married 32 years. Hard to believe we have known each other that long. Things are still not going so great. I have now been unemployed for 4 months. I keep applying but no bites yet except the dare sales people. I am so tired of that. I completed my MBA on March 31st. Kerry had his first heart attack on April 19th and had open heart surgery on April 21st. He had a five way bypass with 7 blocks. On June 4th our 14th grandchild was born and on July 4th he was in the hospital with a puliminary hemorage. He came out of the hospital on July 9th and Kerry went back in the hospital July 11th with yet another heart attack, July 11th was also the day I was laid off from my job so I can not forget that. When the Doctor did Kerry's next angiogram he found that three of the five graphs failed and they put in three stents. He is now in great shape and says he feels twenty years younger. August 16th Shawn was married, just one day after turning 22. August 24th I fell down the stairs and broke my right leg just above the ankle so I had to spend nine weeks in an air cast with only being able to drive the last three weeks of that nine. Kerry has been talking about me actually looking in Sacramento for a job but for now I will keep looking in Utah. I will give it a couple of weeks and then see.
